My Mum takes crafty stuff to markets. If she were to make some cards or coasters incorporating old images from calendars, magazines etc, and sell them, is she violating copyright law? Could she potentially be sued by the publisher of the magazine or calendar, or the photographer?

(I’m rather paranoid about copyright, because I work in the music industry… I’d rather be safe than sued!)
